A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ZEPHYRHILLS, FLORIDA; ADOPTING THE CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS
CONSTRUCTION SPECIFICATION MANUAL TECHNICAL
STANDARDS FOR WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM, AND THE
CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS CONSTRUCTION SPECIFICATION
MANUAL TECHNICAL STANDARDS FOR WASTEWATER AND
RECLAIMED WATER; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills,hereby sets forth and adopts the
"City of Zephyrhills Construction Specification Manual Technical Standards for Water
Distribution System" attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and "City of Zephyrhills Construction
Specification Manual Technical Standards for Wastewater and Reclaimed Water" attached hereto
as Exhibit "B" and incorporated herein by reference, which shall govern and supersede any
provisions of the City; and
WHEREAS, the City of Zephyrhills has determined that the adoption of the attached
Construction Specification Manual Technical Standards is in the best interest of the City.
NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ZEPHYRHILLS,FLORIDA:
Section 1. The attached documents entitled "City of Zephyrhills Construction Specification
Manual Technical Standards for Water Distribution System"and"City of Zephyrhills Construction
Specification Manual Technical Standards for Wastewater and Reclaimed Water" is hereby made
part of this Resolution and adopted by reference.
Section 2. The Construction Specification Manual Technical Standards shall apply to all
development activity within the City of Zephyrhills Utility Service Area.
Section 3. Any additional standards not included within these Construction and Technical
Standards shall be designed and constructed to conform to generally accepted industry practices
with prior approval of the City of Zephyrhills Utilities Director.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
The foregoing Resolution No. 721-16 was read and passed, following a public hearing, in
an open and regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills, Florida, on this 13th
day of June, 2016.
