AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS, FLORIDA, LEVYING THE
MILLAGE RATE FOR FISCAL YEAR 201020QR-

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Zephyrh�lls, Florida, has timely advised the Pasco
County Property Appraiser's office that it proposed to levy a millage rate of 5.9999 mills;which is le s than
the rolled back rate of 6.1437 mills computed pursuant to Florida Statute 200.065(1)by(2.34%); aid
-WHER-E-AS,the-City-Council-ofthe City of Zephyrhills,Florida_did-on-September 15;20-1-0-conduct - =
a Public Hearing and a second Public Hearing on September 27, 2010, and following the second public
Hearing, did adopt a tentative budget of Forty-Six Million Sixty-Eight Thousand Two Hundred inety-
Three Dollars ($46,068,293).
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills, Florida did advertise on Septem er 24,
2010, its intent to adopt a final budget and millage rate during a Public Hearing held September 27, 2010;
and
WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Zephyrhill s,Florida,did after receiving input fr m the
general public,adopt a final budget of Forty-Six Million Sixty-Eight Thousand Two Hundred Ninety Three
Dollars ($46,068,293).
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills,F orida,
sitting in regular session that:
The millage rate to be levied for ad-valorem taxes within the municipality of the-City of Zeph rrhills
for the 2010-2011 fiscal year shall be 5.9999 mills, said rate being (2.34%) less ti in the
rolled back rate of 6.1437 mills computed pursuant to Florida Statute 200.065(1).
