MILLAGE RATE FOR FISCAL YEAR 2011-2012 FOR co N

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills, Florida, has timely advised th� 3
Pasco County Property Appraiser's office that it proposed to levy a millage rate of 5.9999 mills, i c N
which is less than the rolled back rate of 6.1234 mills c mputed pursuant to Florida Statut

200.065(1) by(2.02%); and

WHEREAS,the-City Council of the city of Zephyrhi is,Florida did on September 12,201
conduct a Public Hearing and a second Public Hearing on September 26, 2011, and following the Ur
second Public Hearing,did adopt a tentative budget of Forty-Seven Million Five Hundred Twenty j A
Five Thousand Sixty-Eight Dollars ($47,525,068).
WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills,Florida did advertise on Septembe
22,2011,its intent to adopt a final budget and millage rate durmg a Public Hearing held Septembe
26, 2011; and
• WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Zephyr ills, Florida, did after receiving inpu
from the general public, adopt a final budget of Forty-Sever Million Five Hundred Twenty-Fiv
Thousand Sixty-Eight Dollars ($47,525,068).
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills
Florida, sitting in regular session that:
1. The millage rate to be levied for ad valorem taxes within the municipality of the Ci
of Zephyrhills for the 2011-2012 fiscal year ,hall be 5.9999 mills, said rate bein
(2.02%) less than the rolled back rate of 6.1231 I mills computed pursuant to Florida
Statute 200.065(1).
2. This ordinance shall become effective upon passage on the second reading and
signing by the Mayor.
