AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ZEPHYRHILLS FLORIDA,ADOPTING A BUDGET FOR THE 2016-2017
FISCAL YEAR.
WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills,Florida,adopted a tentative budget
in the amount of Sixty-Eight Million Six Hundred Ninety-Six Thousand Two Hundred Thirty c
• Dollars ($68,696,230).
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills, Florida has scheduled a Public
Hearing and timely advertised,according to law,a Public Hearing on the budget rate for the purpose °'

of receiving input from the general public and the purpose of answering any and all questions prior to �w
the adoption of any measure by this governing body pertaining thereto; and 1
WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills, Florida has concluded the Public
Hearing and considered all comments.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills, N
Florida, sitting in regular session that:

1. The proposed budget for the 2016-2017 fiscal year for the municipality of the City of
Zephyrhills is hereby adopted in the amount Sixty-Eight Million Six Hundred Ninety-
Six Thousand Two Hundred Thirty Dollars($68,696,230)and No Cents per attached
budget summary Exhibit A.
2. This Ordinance shall become effective upon passage on the second reading and
signing by the Mayor.
The foregoing Ordinance No. 1308-16 was read and passed on the first reading,following a public
