RESOLUTION N NO. 722-16
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ZEPHYRHILLS, FLORIDA, SUBORDINATING CERTAIN EASEMENT
RIGHTS TO THE STATE OF FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION.
Pq T �pyI-IEREAS, the State of Florida Department of Transportation proposes to construct or
FL3Fprovo
State Road No. '1, :l Parcel I No,. 02..26-2l-0000399000020 in Pasco County,
Florida;and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that certain lands now owned by the City of Zephyrhills,
Florida, be acquired by the State of Florida,Departnient of Transportation; and
WHEREAS, said property is not needed for City,purposes; and
WHEREAS, the State of Florida Department of Transportation has made application to
said City to execute and deliver to the State of Florida Department of Transportation a deed in
favor of the State of Florida Department of Transportation,conveying all rights, title and interest
that said City has in and to said lands required for transportation purposes and said request
having been duly considered.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills,
Florida,that the application of the State of Florida Department of Transportation for a deed is for
transportation purposes which are in the public or community interest and for public welfare and
the land needed for transportation purposes is not needed for City purposes; that a deed in favor
of the State of the State of Florida Department of Transportation conveying all right., title and
interest of the City of Zephyrhills,Florida, in and to said lands should be drawn and executed by
this City Council. Consideration shall be$0.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this resolution be forwarded
forthwith to the State of Florida Department of Transportation at 11201 N. Malcolm McKinley
Drive Tampa, Florida 33612.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT PASSED by the City Council of the City of Zephyrhilla, Florida
sitting in regular session this 13th day of June,2016.
