A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ZEPYRHILLS, FLORIDA REVISING CITY POLICY REGARDING
EXECUTION OF AGREEMENTS.
WHEREAS,the City as a duly organized municipal corporation during the course of
ordinary business enters into written agreements which bind and obligate the City; and
WHEREAS, the City, in order to effectuate the orderly and efficient operation of City
business finds it necessary to expressly grant the authority to execute contracts approved by City
Council.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,that the President of the City Council is
specifically authorized to execute any and all contracts, leases, deeds of conveyance, or
agreements of any kind, which bind or obligate the City after such document has been reviewed
and approved by a majority of City Council, at either a regular or special meeting; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the President of the City Council in conjunction
with the Mayor may enter into and execute Outside Utility Service Agreements; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Manager is authorized to execute any and
all contracts which bind or obligate the City in amounts not to exceed$10,000. Furthermore, the
City Manager shall advise City Council of any and all such contracts or agreements that are
entered into.
The foregoing Resolution No. 628-10 was read and passed in an open and regular
meeting by the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills, Florida, on this 12th day of April, 2010.
