RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF

ZEPHYRHILLS, FLORIDA, ADOPTING THE PASCO COUNTY
COMPREHENSIVE EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT PLAN
WHEREAS, Florida Administrative Rule 9G-6 establishes the criteria for revie
of local emergency management plans; and
WHEREAS, the "Local Comprehensive Emergency Management Pla
Compliance Criteria" which is adopted by reference in Rule 9G-6, sets forth the criteri
and format for local emergency management plans; and
WHEREAS, Florida Statute 252.38(2) provides that "Municipalities without
Emergency Management Programs shall be served by their respective Coun y
agencies"; and
WHEREAS, the Pasco County Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan
has been reviewed by the State of Florida, !Division of Emergency Management, an
declared to be in compliance with the terms of Chapter 9G-6;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Zephyrhills, a politic I
subdivision of the State of Florida, through its City Council, in regular session
assembled this 13th day of September, 2O10, does hereby declare that the Pasco
County Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan is adopted and authorized to b
activated by the City of Zephyrhills.
This resolution shall take effect immediately upon passage.
NOW, THEREFORE.,BE IT PASSED by the City Council of the City of Zephyrhill
Florida sitting in regular-_session this 13t day of September, 2010.
