A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ZEPHYRHILLS, FLORIDA; ADOPTING ROADWAY, SIDEWALK,
STORMWATER DESIGN, STREET LIGHTING, AND DRIVEWAY
DESIGN MINIMUM STANDARDS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills, hereby sets forth and adopts the
Design Standards attached hereto as Exhibit"A" and incorporated herein by reference, which
shall govern and supersede any provisions of the City; and
WHEREAS,the City of Zephyrhills has determined that the adoption of the attached
Design Standards is in the best interest of the City.
NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The attached document entitled"City of Zephyrhills Public Works Design
Manual Minimum Standards" is hereby made part of this Resolution and adopted by reference
Section 2. The Manual of Minimum Standards shall apply to all development activity withi
the City.
Section 3. Any additional design standards not included within these minimum standards
shall be designed and constructed to conform to the requirements of the Florida Department of
Transportation Standards, Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, latest edition and
amendments; and the State of Florida Manual of Uniform Standards for Design, Construction,
and Maintenance of Streets and Highways.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
The foregoing Resolution No. 688-15 was read and passed, following a public hearing, i
an open and regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills, Florida, on this 9
