A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ZEPHYRHILLS, FLORIDA, NAMING THE SKATE PARK AT KRUSEN
FIELD THE "CLYDE C. BRACKNELL ZEPHYRHILLS SKATEPARK";
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Clyde C. Bracknell has served the City of Zephyrhills from 1977 through
1985, and then from 1987 through 2009, for a total of 29 years of service; and
WHEREAS, Clyde C. Bracknell's career focused on recreational pursuits and youth
activities in Zephyrhills, including organized sports,park improvements, and the Special
Olympics; and
WHEREAS, during his tenure on City Council, Clyde C. Bracknell worked to foster ope
and civil dialogue among all parties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ZEPHYRHILLS, FLORIDA:
1. The City Council of the City of Zephyrhills, Florida, in order to honor the
dedication and service to the citizens of Zephyrhills, names the skatepark at Krusen Field, the
"Clyde C. Bracknell Zephyrhills Skatepark."
2. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
DONE AND RESOLVED this 9th day of February, 2015.
