ECTION 1. Section 21(a)`of Ordinance No. 985-07 is hereby amended as follows:

(a) Residential dwellings. T

(1) Effective October 1, 2007 through September 30, 2009, for residentia

ustomers, the rate shall be.. Seven Dollars and Twenty-five Cents• ($7.25) per month per
esidential unit.. Beginning October 1, 2009 and each year thereafter, the rate shall be adjuste
• ursuant'to Section 11-21(d).
(4) A.delinquent fee of$45.00 shall be assessed to all accounts disconnected
ue to non-payment. The revenue generated from this fee shall be distributed$35.00 to Water
d Sewer and$10.00 to Sanitation.
ECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DATE.
This ordinance shall become effective when passed on the third reading and signed by th
ayor.
ECTION 3. SEVERABILITY.
If any part of this ordinance shall be declared unconstitutional or invalid by a court o
ompetent jurisdiction,the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
