JED PITTMAN, PASCO COUNTY LERK 03/08/06 10:45am 1 f OR BK 6874 PG i6 EREAS, the owner of Silver Oaks PUD has requested a modification of the PUD to ad additional properties into the PUD; and REAS, on September 24, 2001, the City Council approved the rezoning of said land tc UD; and *HEREAS, the applicant/developer has recently requested to add additional properties in Th L inks and The Preserve Subdivisions to the PUD; and HEREAS, the City Council has been given authority by the State of Florida pursuant t hapters 166 and 163, Florida Statutes, to rezone property within the City limits,upon receipt o itten consent of the land owner, together with the approval of the City Council of sai r zoning duly expressed by Ordinance; and HEREAS, due public notice of hearings on the p oposed zoning amendment was given"by th ity Council on February 16 and February 23, 2006, as required by- the Zephyrhills Lan evelopment Code and Chapter 166, Florida Statutes; and HEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on January 10, 2006 to conside s id proposed zoning amendment; and HEREAS, the City Council has determined that an amendment to the Silver Oaks*Planne nit Development would be appropriate, would promote the general welfare, and encourag oper development within the City. _ - OW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED AND ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL O EPHYRHILLS, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: ection 1: The above Whereas clauses are hereby adopted and incorporated herein. ection 2: The Silver Oaks PUD Master Plan is hereby modified to add and include Th reserve and The Links Subdivisions into and subject to the existing PUD zoning on th p operty.
