AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS, FLORIDA, LEVYING THE
MILLAGE RATE FOR FISCAL YEAR 2006-2007
FOR THE CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS. �
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills, Florida, has timely advised the P sco
County Property Appraiser's office that it proposed to levy a millage rate of 6.42 mills, which is more
ti an the rolled back rate computed pursuant to Florida Statute 200.065(1) by 16.68%; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills, Florida.did on September 13, 7006
conduct a Public Hearing and a second Public Hearing on September 25,2006,and following the second
Public Hearing, did adopt a tentative budget of Fifty;-Six Million Nine Hundred Sixty-Three Thousand
O ie Hundred Forty-Uric Dollars ($56,963,141).
.WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills,Florida did advertise on September 22,
2 06,its intent to adopt a final budget and millage rate during a Public Hearing held September 25,2d06;

WHEREAS,the-City Council of the City of Zephyrhills,Florida, did after receiving input f om
th general public,•adopt a final budget of Fifty-Six Million Nine Hundred Sixty-Three Thousand the
H ndred Forty-One Dollars ($56,963,141).
NOWTHEREFOREBEIT ORDAINED by;the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills,Flor da,
sitting in regular session that:
1. The millage rate to be levied for ad valorem taxes within the municipality of the Cit of
Zephyrhills for the 2006-2007 fiscal year shall be 6.42 mills,said rate being 16.68%m re
than the rolled back rate computed pursuant to Florida Statute 200.065(1).
2. This ordinance shall become effective upon passage on the second reading and signing by
the Mayor.
