AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS, FLORIDA, PROHIBITING
THE MAKING OR CAUSING TO BE MADE OF A
FALSE. FIRE .ALARM, AND FIXING THE PENALTY
THEREFOR.

BE IT ENACTED AND ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any person,
without reasonable cause, to make or circulate or cause to

be made or circulated, by outcry or the ringing of bells or
otherwise, a false fire alarm.
Section 2. Any person violating the provisions of
the first section of this ordinance shall, upon conviction
thereof, be punished by a fine of not more than One Hundred
and no/100 Dollars ($100.00) , or by imprisonment in _the City
Jail for a period not exceeding thirty (30) days , or both such ,
fine and imprisonment in the discretion of the Municipal Judge,
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such
conflict.
Section 4. If any part of this ordinance shall, by
any Court of competent jurisdiction, be held to be unconsti-
tutional, such ruling shall not effect the validity of the
remainder of this ordinance.
Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective
in the manner as provided by the City Charter of the City of
Zephyrhills , Florida.
