IZEPHYRHILLS,. AND REQUIRING THE DISPLAY q
OF ELECTRIC LIGHTS OR STRIPS OF REFLEC=
TOR TAPE UPON EVERY BICYCLE OPERATED
UPON THE STREETS OF THE CITY OF
ZEPHYRHILL'S, AND PROVIDING THE IE NALTY
FOR VIOLATION THEREOF.
BE IT ENACTED AND ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ZEPHYRHILLS, FLORIDA.
Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any person to
ride a bicycle upon any sidewalk within the limits of the City
of Zephyrhills, Florida.
Section 2. Every bicycle operated upon the streets
of Zephyrhills, Florida, shall display one white electric light
pointing forward and one red electric light pointing to the

rear, or_ in lieuA ', at least one three inch (3") strip
of one inch (1") reflector tape on the t of the bicycle
a re�dr flec-
tor at least two inches (2") in diameter on the rear�so as may
be clearly veiwed by the traffic 'approaching from the rear.
S.ection^.3. Any person 'viblating any of the provi-
sions of Section 1 or Section 2 above shall, upon conviction
thereof, be punished by a fine of not more than Five Dollars
($5.00) or by imprisonment in the City Jail for a period not
exceeding five ( 5) days., or by both such fine and imprisonment
in the discretion of the Municipal Judge.
Section 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such
conflict.
Section 5. If any part of this ordinance shall, by
any Court of competent jurisdiction, be held to be unconsti-
tutional, such ruling shall not effect the validity of the
remainder of this ordinance.
Section 6. This ordinance shall become effective
in the manner as provided by the City Charter of the City of
Zephyrhills , Florida.
