AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS,
FLORIDA, PROHIBITING ANY PERSON FROM
DEPOSITING OR PERMITTING TO DEPOSITED
CERTAIN MATERIALS ON THE SIDE WALKS OF
THE CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS-, FLORIDA, EXCEPT
IN CERTAIN SITUATIONS, AND PROVIDING THE
PENALTY FU VIOLATION THEREOF.
BE IT ENACTED AND ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ZEPHYRHILLS, FLORIDA.
Section 1. No person or persons shall deposit or
permit the deposit of any building material on any sidewalk
or in any street of this City, unless materials are for im-
mediate use in buildings in the course of erection or repair
and for the deposit of such materials not more than one-third
(1/3) of the width of the street in front of such building shall
be occupied within one (1) week after the completion of the
roof, and the exterior of such building. All building materials
then remaining shall be removed from the streets.
Section 2. Any person or persons violating the
provisions of Section 1 above shall, upon conviction, be fined
not exceeding Twenty Dollars ($20.00) or be imprisoned for a
period not exceeding ten (10) days.
Section 3. All ordinances of parts or ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such
conflict.
Section 4. If any part of this ordinance shall, by
any Court of competent jurisdiction, be held to be unconsti-
tutional , such ruling shall not effect the validity of the
remainder of this ordinance.
Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective
in the manner as provided by the City Charter of the City of
Zephyrhills , Florida.
