Be It Enacted ,and Ordained. by the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills, Florida: Section 1. That from and after the adoption and enact- ment of this ordinance that all plumbingwithin the City of Zephyr hills, whether the same be installed in the construction of new buildings or the repair or alteration of the plumbing in existing building shall be done in accordance with the prov .w ions of the State Sanitary Code, which said code is hereby now adopted by the City of Zephyrhills the same as if set forth in this irdinance, 7 I verbatim, and that from time to time as the said ;3t�te Sanitary Co e shall be altered, amended or changed, that said alteration, change or amendments shall become effective as to this coda without the adoption of any subsequent or amending ordinance. Section 2. That there is hereby created and established the office of plumbing inspector of the City of 'Zephyrhill:, who shall be appointed by the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills who shall serve from the date of his appointment until the end of the calendar year in which he is appointed, and that at the meeting in December of each year that the City Council shall ap- point a plumbing inspector who shall serve during the succeeding calendar year. That in the event of a vacancy in said office occurring at any time that the City Council may fill the office for the remainder of that term.;?That it shall be the duty of the 1 I `' said plumbing inspector to examine and approve all plans and speci. fications for plumbing work to be done within the corporate limits • c1 said city; to issue the permits' therefor; :t collect the ;fees for such' insp©ction as hereinafter . set forth; to inspect all . .. plumbing, draina'go and other installations in and around all .pre, mises within the City 'of Zephyrhills which would have any connect on directly or indirectly with the installation and maintenence of plumbing which would, affect the health of the inhabitants, pccu.- pants, or those adjacent or in the proximity .of any build.in�; to conduct any tests which might be necessary or advisable to hi• m; to determine .11 the same be. properly installed.,. and upon the ap- proval of said plumbing to issue his, certificate of inspection a approval;, to render to tie-.' public and citizens of said city any ndvisatory service relative to 'plum.bing ,matters or regulations, and that in the event ,of any complaint made by -any person as to any plumbing ' installation 'that he . shall inspect .thesame to de- termine if' the said installation be injurious"' 'or dangerous 'to the health of,' ,the the inbabitant.s or occupants of any building or any person living in• the .close . roximi.ty thereof. •• Section' 3. ' That the said plumbing . inspector 'shall collect fees- for the is suing ' of the permits, inspection and appro al -according' to the: following schedule:, For the inspection of fixt es for thee. first, fixture, $1.50; for each additional fixture,; Soc. ;. for the inspection of septic' tanks and the installation thereof, That said fees shall be collected` by the said plumbing inspector at . the time of the issuing of - the permit and if ;at the time of the final inspection he shall determine ,that .there have been further and additional` fixtures installed, not covered by the original permit that the approval certificate shall not. be • .issued until . all •foes have been paid in accordance with ti.e work actually installed.' . .All fees so collected.' •by the said , plt ..rbing inspector. shall be by him promptly turned. over and paid tea the City- Clerk.
