r ORDINANCE MAKING IT UNLAWFULL IN ZEPHYRHILLS,FLORIDA, TO
S LL OR TO POSSESS FOR PURPOSES OF CERCULATION, OR TO ALLOW

O RIODICAL WHICH HAS BEEN LISTED BY TEE COMMITTEE ON EVALUATION
OF COMIC BOOKS AS BEING OBJECTIONABLE. AND FICING A PENALTY
FOR THE VIOLATION `_7' EREOF,
B' IT ORDAINED- BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ZEPHYRH.ILLS, FLORIDA,
section 1; It is unlawful in Zephyrhiils,Florida for any person,
firm or Corporation or their agents , employees, clerks and servants
o sell, offer to sell, or to possess for the purpose of
cerculation or to allow to be read any Comic Book, Magazine,
(Newspaper or other periodical of any kind whatever that has been
listed by the Committee on Evaluation of Comic Books, Box 1486,
Cincinnati 1, Ohio, as being either objectionable or very
objectionable.
section 2:; The City Clerk is hereby authorized and he is
required to secure, as published, a sufficient number of the
ists prepared by the Committee On Evaluation Of Comic Book, Box
486, Cincinnate 1, Ohio, to supply all dealers in Zephyrhills,
Florida, Upon receipt of the Lists, as Published, the City Clerk
shall deliver to the Chief Of Police the number necessary to
supply a copy thereof to each dealer, and the Chief of Police
is hereby required to make delivery thereof to each dealer,
section 3; All Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
eapealed.
section 4; Violations of this Ordinance shall be punished by
fine of not more than $100.00, or by imprisonment for not more
han thirty days, or by both fine and imprisonment.
section 5; This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon
its becoming a Law.
