AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS,
FLORIDA, MAKING IT UNLAWFUL FOR ANY
PERS.ON IN AN INTOXICATED CONDITION OR IN
A RECKLESS MANNER, TO OPERATE ANY MOTOR
VEHICLE UPON THE 'STREETS OF THE CITY OF
ZEPHYRHILLS., FLORIDA, AND PROVIDING THE
PENALTY FOR VIOLATIONS THEREOF.
BE IT ENACTED AND ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS, FLORIDA.
Section 1 . It shall be unlawful for any person while
in an intoxicated condition or under the' influence of intoxi-
cating liquor, to drive or operate over the streets or thorough—
fares of the City of Zephyrhills, any automobile, truck, or motor

vehicle or any other vehicle propelled by gasoline, gas, vapor,
electricity, steam or other' power.
Section. 2. It shall be unlawful for any persontto
drive or operate within the limits of the City of Zephyrhills, '
Florida, any motor vehicle in a manner that will endanger life,
limb or property, regardless of' speed.
Section 3. Any person violating the provisions of
Section 1 or Section 2 above, shall upon conviction thereof,
be fined not more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500. 00) , or im-
prisoned for O months, or both.
Section 4 . All ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such
conflict .
Section 5. If any part of this ordinance shall by any
Court of competent jurisdiction, be held to be unconstitutional ,
such ruling shall not effect the validity of the remainder of'
this ordinance.
Section 6. This ordinance shall become effective in
the manner as provided by the City Charter of the City of
Zephyrhills, Florida.
The foregoing Ordinance was read and passed on its
first reading by the City Council of Zephyrhills, Florida, on
the day of , 1956.
