ANT ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ORDINANCE PROVIDING
/ 7/5a FOR THE LICENSING OF ALL DOGS WITHIN THE CITY
LIMITS OF THE CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS, FLORIDA,
AND TIE ANNUAL LICENSE FEES FOR SAID DOGS .
BE IT ENACTED AND ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
TI-E CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS, FLORIDA, As follows :
Section 3 . of said Ordinance shall be amended to
read as follows :
The City Clerk shal 1 also give the licensee an
appropriate dog tag to be attached to the collar of said animal .
No license shall be issued until and unless evidence has been
produced before the City Clerk of the City of Zephyrhills,
Florida to show that said dog has been inoculated against rabies
within a period of one year. The certificate of any person
licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Florida,
or that airy person duly authorized by the City Council of the
City of Zephyrhills, Florida to administer anti-rabies inoculation,
may be accepted as evidence of inoculation. All license issued
by the City Clerk of Zephyrhills, Florida, shall expire one year
after the date of issuance . The annual License Fee shall be $1 .50
for each male dog and $2 .00 for each female dog.
If any section, clause or provision of this Amend-
' ment to the Ordinance shall for any reason be held void and of no
effect, it shall not effect the validity of the remainder of this
Amendment,
The foregoing Amendment to Ordinance to No. 70:00
was read and passed on its first reading by the City Council
of Zephyrhills, Floirda, on the // day of May, 1958.
