AMENDMENT TO ORDINANCE NO. 121
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE REGULATING AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS TO PERMIT
AND AUTHORIZE THE BUILDING OF CITY STREETS BY
PRIVATE INDIVIDUALS AND PRESCRIBING THE STANDARDS
AND METHODS THEREFOR; BY PROVIDING FOR SUPPLE
MENTAL AND ALTERNATIVE METHOD OF PAVING.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS
FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
The following and alternative specifications with respect
to the paving of streets within the iCity Limits of the CITY OF
ZEPHYRHILLS, Florida, by private individuals, firms or cor-
po ations, are hereby added to those permitted and allowed by
Section 3 of Ordinance. No. 121 hereinabove referred to, to-wit:
Grade to be uniform. grade,; with approved, tandem, grader;
stabilization to 10`t compacted measurements; 8" Mix-in-Place,
compacted to 6t', using .marl, clay or hardpan compacted in place
by using Seaman Rota Mixer or its equivalent; using pneumatic
roller for compaction, and an 8 to 12 ton steel roller for finish.
All asphalt to meet State Road Department specifications, using
at least three gallons of RC 2 S asphalt per square yard for
Mix-in-Place, and 25 100gallons of RC 2 S asphalt

yard for sand seal finish. All work shall be done in a workman-
like manner.
All other parts of Ordinance No. 121 hereinabove referred to
are hereby reiterated and are to remain in full force and effect .
The foregoing Amendment to Ordinance No. 121 was read and
passed on its first reading by the City Council of the City of
Zephyrhills, Florida, on the )- -' day of October, 1958.
