AN ORDINANCE SETTINGFORTH PREREQUISITES AND
CONDITIONS AS TO PERSONS SEEKING-.EMPLOYMENT .
WITH THE CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS, FLORIDA, AND
THE RESPONSIBILITY OF TUE. CITY .CLERK OF THE
CITY OF . ZEPHYRHILLS- TO. SEE THAT SUCH PRE-
REQUISITES AND CONDITIONS ARE COMPLIED WITH;
AND ESTABLISHING A .PROBATIONARY PERIOD OF
NINETY DAYS FROM DATE OF EMPLOYMENT.FOR ALL
PERSONS EMPLOYED BY THE.CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS,
FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Every person seeking employment with the City of
Zephyrhills, Florida, shall undergo . a .physical examination by a
doctor selected. by .the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills
to determine whether such person meets such standards of health
and physical fitness as the City Council may from time to time,
by Resolution or otherwise, establish; and. no person shall be
employed .by. the City of Zephyrhi.11s ,who does .not meet such standards.
SECTION 2. Every person seeking employment with the City of
Zephyrhills, Florida, shall furnish references complying with such
standards. as. the City Council..of the .Ci.ty of Zephyrhills. may from
time to time, by Resolution or otherwise, establish; and it shall
be the duty of the City Clerk of the City of Zephyrhills to check
sJch references without delay to determine whether said references
do comply with such standards.
SECTION 3. Every person seeking and. obtaining employment with
the City of Zephyrhills, Florida, shall be placed on probation for
a period of ninety days from the date- such employment commences.
The foregoing Ordinance No. was read and passed on
its first reading by the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills,
