AMENDMENT TO ORDINANCE NO. 28 (A- I5
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS ,
FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE ENTITLED
"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS ,
FLORIDA, PROHIBITING THE SALE OF ALCOHOL
DURING CERTAIN HOURS AND PROVIDING PENALTY
THEREOF. "
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Pasco
County, Florida, has., by Resolution dated August 13, A.D. ,
1963, recorded in County. Commissioners Minute Book No. 16,
Pages 85 and 86, Public Records of Pasco County, Florida ,
extended the hours within which licensed businesses may
sell, serve or offer for sale , alcoholic and intoxicating

beverages ; and
WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills ,
Florida, feels that it is unfair to various licensed busi-
nesses located within the municipal corporate limits of the
City of Zephyrhills , Florida , who sell, serve or offer for
sale alcoholic' or intoxicating beverages to have to close
their respective places of businesses earlier than their
competitors who are not within the municipal corporate •
limits of the City of Zephyrhills , Florida ; Now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ZEPHYRH ILLS , FLORIDA, as follows :
That Section I of Ordinance No. 28, according to the
numbering scheme of the City Clerk of the City of Zephyr-
hills , Florida , be, and the same is hereby amended to read .
as follows :
"SECTION I :
It shall be unlawful for any alcoholic beverages to be
sold, consumed, served, offered for sale or permitted to be

served, or consumed at any place holding a license to sell
and serve alcoholic and intoxicating beverages in the City
of Zephyrhills , Florida , between the hours of 2:00 A .M. and
7 :00 A.M. of each day., excepting Sunday. "
That Section II of Ordinanle No. 28, according to the
numbering scheme of the City Clerk of the City of Zephyr-
hills, Florida, be, and the same is hereby amended to read
as follows :
"SECTION II :
It shall be unlawful for any alcoholic beverages to be
sold, consumed, served, offexed for sale, or permitted to
be served or consumed at any place holding a license to sell
and serve alcoholic and intoxicating beverages in the City
of Zephyrhills , Florida , between the hours of 2100 A .M. and
1 :00 P.M. of each Sunday. "
All other parts and portions of Ordinance No. 28 are

hereby reiterated and shall remain in full force and effect .
The foregoing Amendment to Ordinance No. 28 was read and
passed on its First reading by the City Council of the City

This is to certify that the ordinance amending ordinance #28 has 's
been posted in two public places namely, the City Hall and the U.S .
Post Office for a period of fifteen days. The ordinance was posted
in t e City Hall and the U.S. Post Office on November 8, 1963 and
remained posted in said City Hall and U.S . Post Office until
Dece ber 9, 1963.
