Home My WebLink About157 Annexing Contiguous Lands ORDINANCE NO. / / AN OR])INANCE OF THE CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS , ZEPHYRHILLS, FLORIDA, .ANNEXING CONTIGUOUS LANDS , ADJACENT TO THE CITY, HEREINAFTER PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED . WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills, at its regular meeting October 3, 1962, duly passed, upon its third and final reading, an Ordinance declaring its intention to annex real property hereinafter described, to the City of Zephyrhills, after, the expiration of thirty days from said date of approval; and WHEREAS, more than thirty days has passed from the approval of said Ordinance; and WHEREAS , said Ordinance has been duly published four con- secutive weeks in the Zephyrhills News , Zephyrhills, Florida, in the issues of October 12, October ' 19, October 26, and November 2,, 1962, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS , FLORIDA, as follows: SECTION I: That the following described real property being contiguous to the City of Zephyrhills and containing less than ten registered voters be, and the same is hereby declared annexed. tlo the City of Zephyrhills , Florida, , said parcel. of land being des- cribed as follows : The South 402.88 feet of the Southwest 1/4, of Section 2, Township 26 South, Range 21 East, less the West 410 feet thereof., Pasco County, Florida.. SECTION :II: That the City shall have power and jurisdiction over said area and all the inhabitants thereof, and tha property located therein, that it now has over and within the present corporate limits, with the exception that all the property, both real and personal, located within the said area, shall not be liable for any bonded indebtedness of said City presently existing. -1- I l � SECTION III : If any clause, sentence or provision of this ' rdance shall be held unconstitutional, the remaining portions of this Ordinance shall not be affected and shall remain in full force nd effect.
