AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE ERECTION ,
INSTALLATION AND MAINTAINING OF UNSAFE
AND HAZARDOUS TELEVIS ION ANTENNAS, AND
OTHER UNSAFE AND HAZARDOUS STRUCTURES ;
PRO\ IDING FOR THE INSPECTION OF UNSAFE
AND HAZARDOUS TELEVISION ANTENNAS AND
UNSAFE AND HAZARDOUS OTHER "STRUCTURES
BY THE BUILDING INSPECTOR OF THE CITY
_OF ZEPHYRHILLS , FLORIDA, AND REQUIRING
ONES OWNING OR MAINTAINING SAME TO COR-
RECT UNSAFE AND HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS
AFTER WRITTEN NOTICE; AND PROVIDING FOR
PENALTY IN VIOLATION' THEREOF; REPEAL OF
ORDINANCE NO. 113
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ZEPHYR-
HILLS , FLORIDA, as follows :
• SECTION Is
That from and after the passage of this Ordinance, it
shall be unlawful for any person, party, firm or corporation
to erect, install or maintain_, or allow to be maintained on
premises under their, or its controls any hazardous or unsafe
television antenna, or any other hazardous or unsafe structure
within the City of Zephyrhills, Florida, It shall be the duty
of the Building Inspector of the City of Zephyrhills to enter
upon the premises and inspect any television antenna or other
structure for the purpose of determining whether such is hazard-
ous or unsafe, and if the Building Inspector shall determine
that any television antenna or ether structure is hazardous or
unsafe to the public, then,. the Building Inspector shall notify
the owner,, or person in legal possession of the premises to
correct the unsafe or hazardousicondition by written notice,
and demand that such hazardous or unsafe condition be either
eliminated or corrected,, within five days from the time of
notification, and if any person, party, firm or corporation
shall not remove or correct the unsafe condition after notifica-
tion within the time stated, then., such person, party, firm or

corporation upon conviction, shall be fined by a fine not
exceeding $100.00 or imprisonment in the City jail for ten
days-. or both fine and imprisonment.
SECTION II:
That Ordinance Number 113 according to the numbering
scheme of the City Clerk of the, City of Zephyrhills, Florid
be,, and the same is hereby repealed.
SECTION III :
If any part of this Ordinance is declared unconstitutional
by any Court of competent jurisdiction, such ruling shall not
affect the remaining validity of any portion of this Ordinance.
The foregoing Ordinance was read and passed on its First
reading by the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills, Florida,
on the day of /4 ., 1963.
