Home My WebLink About167 Annexing Contiguous Lands ORDINANCE NO /__7 AN ORDINANCE OF THE I CITY OF ZEPHYR- HILLS , FLCR IDA, ANNEXING CONTIGUOUS ADJACENT LANDS 'TO THE CITY, HEREIN- AFTER PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills, duly passed at its regular meeting on August 6, 1963, upon its third and final reading, anOrdinance declaring the City's intention to. annex real property hereinafter described to the City of Zephyrhills after the expiration of thirty (30) days from said date of approval and WHEREAS$ more than thirty (30) days have passed from the approval of said Ordinance; and WHEREAS, said Ordinance has been duly published four con- secutive weeks in the Zephyrhills News, Zephyrhills, Florida., in the issues of August 8, August 15, August 22 and August 29, 1963, therefore, I I BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY, COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ZEPHYR- HILLS, FLORIDA, as follows : SECTION I: That the following described real property, being con- tiguous to the City of Zephyrhills, and containing less than ten registered voters, be, and the same is hereby declared annexed to the City of Zephyrhills,, Florida,, said parcel of land being, described as follows : All that part of the1Northeast 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4; and the South 25 feet of the i East 3/4ths of the Southeast 1/4 of1the Northwest 1/4 in Section 12, Township 26 South, Range 21 East, lying'West of the At- lantic Coast Line R road. SECTION II : That the City of Zephyrhills shall have power and juris- diction over the said area and all inhabitants thereof, and -1-. the property located therein that it now has over and within the corporate limits. SECTION III: If any clause, sentence or provision of this Ordinance shall be head unconstitutional by any Court of competent jurisdiction the remaining portion of this Ordinance shall not be affected and shall remain in full force and effect.
