HomeMy WebLinkAbout168 Annexing Contiguous Lands ORDINANCE NO. l(O 8 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ZEPHYR- HILLS , FLORIDA, ANNEXING CONTIGUOUS LANDS, ADJACENT TO THE CITY, HEREIN- AFTER PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills at its regular meeting on October 1, 1963, duly passed, upon its third and final reading, an Ordinance declaring its intention to annex the real property, hereinafter described, to the City of Zephyrhills after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the said date of approval; and WHEREAS, more than thirty (30) days has passed from the approval of said Ordinance; and WHEREAS, said Ordinance has been duly published four (4) consecutive weeks in the Zephyrhills Newsy Zephyrhills, Florida, in the issues of October 10, October 17, October 24 and October 31, 1963, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ZEPHYR- HILLS , FJ-ORIDA, as follows : SECT ION I : That the following described real property being contiguous to the City of Zephyrhills and containing less than ten (10) I , registered voters be, and the same is hereby declared annexed to the City of Zephyrhills, Florida., said parcel of land being described as follows : The South 350 feet of the Northeast 1/4 of Pew the Southeast. 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 and the North 20 feet of the Southeast 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4, all in Section 10, Township 26 South, Range 21 East,, Pasco County, Florida.. SECTION I I: That the City shall have power and jurisdiction over said area and all the inhabitants thereof, and the property located -1- herein, that it now has over and within the present corporate imits. SECTION III: If any clause, sentence or provision of this Ordinance shall e held unconstitutional,, the remaining portions of. this Ordinance hall not be affected and shall remain in full force and effect.
