AN ORD INANCE ALLOWING AND PROV]D ING FOR ANNUAL
LEAVE TO ELIGIBLE EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF
ZEPHYRH ILLS , ZEPHYRH ILLS , FLORIDA ; DECLARING
WHO- ARE ELIGIBLE- EMPLOYEES ; AND PROVIDING FOR
MANDATORY RETIREMENT AGE. -
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ZEPHYR-
H LLS , Zephyrhills , Florida' as follows :
SECTION I . . . ANNUAL LEAVE
That from and after the passage of this Ordinance, employees
o the City of Zephyrhills who have been continuously employed by
t e City of Zephyrhills for at least one (1) year, and not ex-
ceeding five (5) years shall be entitled one. (-:l) week annual
1 ave per year with pay; and that employees who have been con-
tinuously employed in excess of six (6) years or more shall be
ej}IIIltitled to two (2) weeks annual leave per year with pay ; the
a nual leave shall be considered as earned after each yearT s
c ntinuous employment. -
SECTION II . . . MANDATORY RETIREMENT AGE
That it shall be mandatory that the employment of each employ e
o the City of Zephyrhills shall terminate upon said employee
r aching the age of 65.
SECTION III . -• . EMPLOYMENT RECORDS
That the City Clerk of the City of Zephyrhills shall keep
accurate and permanent employment records of the various employees
o the City of Zephyrhills, showing the period of time that each
en}ployee has worked for the City and such other pertinent informa-
tion that may be necessary to carry out the purpose and intents of
t is Ordinance.

SECTION IV . . . WAIVER PROVISION
Upon proper meritorious showing made b)a'' an employee., the
City Council may, in its discretion waive the mandatory retire-
ment age provision set forth in Section II of this Ordinance.
SECTION V . . . PRIOR ORDINANCE REPEAL
Ordinance No. Six (6) , according to the numbering scheme
ol the City Clerk of the City of Zephyrhills, is hereby repealed
aid superseded by this Ordinance.
