Home My WebLink About196 Exemption - County Commissioners • ORDINANCE NO. / AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS, FLORIDA, DECLARING SAID CITY TO BE EXEMPT FROM THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF AN ORDINANCE ENACTED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF PASCO COUNTY, FLORIDA, PROVIDING FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF FLORIDA STATUTES, CHAPTER 553, LAWS OF FLORIDA, 1969, AND FURTHER PROVIDING FOR THE CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS TO MEET MINIMUM STANDARDS SET FORTH IN FLORIDA STATUTES, CHAPTER 553. WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Pasco County, Florida, did enact •an Ordinance on the 22nd day of December, 1970, providing for the implementation of Florida Statutes 553, Laws of Florida, 1969, and further providing for the effective date of said Ordinance, the same being October 1, 1971, and, WHEREAS, the terms by Section 6 of said Ordinance, munici- palities in Pasco County, Florida, are granted the election to be exampt from the terms and provisions of said Ordinance. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TH CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS : SECTION 1 : The City of Zephyrhills, a municipal corporation of Pasco County, Florida, does, hereby, elect to be exempt from the terms and conditions of that certain Ordinance enacted by the Board of County Commissioners of Pasco County, Florida, on December 22, 1970, which Ordinance provided for the implementa- tion of Florida Statutes 553, Laws of Florida, 1969, the same being entitled "Plumbing Control Laws". SECTION 2: By enactment of this Ordinance electing to be exempt from the aforementioned Ordinance enacted by the Board of County Commissioners of Pasco County, Florida, the City of Zephyrhills does certify that it presently does meet the minimum standards set forth in Chapter 553, Florida Statutes, 1969.
