AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY, OF ZEPHYRHILLS,
FLORIDA, REGULATING MOTOR VEHICLE TRAFFIC
ON ZEPHYRHILLS MUNICIPAL- AIRPORT RUNWAYS
AND TAXIWAYS, OTHER THAN AIRCRAFT, UNLESS
SAID MOTOR VEHICLE IS BEING USED IN
OPERATION OF SAID AIRPORT, OR UNLESS SUCH
MOTOR VEHICLE OPERATOR HAS A WRITTEN PER-
MIT FROM CITY COUNCIL OR CHIEF OF POLICE
TO SO OPERATE SAID MOTOR' VEHICLE, AND
FIXING A PENALTY FOR .VIdLATION THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EPHYRHILLS, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That it shall be unlawful for any person,
arty, firm or corporation to operate a motor vehicle, except
aircraft, on runways and taxiways of the Zephyrhills Municipal
irport, except in those areas clearly marked by traffic control
devices for such motor vehicle traffic.
Section 2. That it shall be unlawful for any person,
arty, firm or corporation to use the runways and taxiways
ocated on the Zephyrhills Municipal Airport for the purpose
f operating automobiles, trucks, tractors, farm machinery, or
ehicles of any nature, type or description, other than aircraft
or such vehicles as are directly xequire.d for the maintenance or
transportation of such aircraft, in which event such vehicle shall
be clearly marked in a manner prescribed by the City Council.
Section 3. That any person desiring to operate a motor
vehicle on runways and taxiways at the Zephyrhills Municipal
irport, other than at those locations clearly marked for such
traffic shall be allowed to do sofonly upon receiving a permit
from the City Council or the Chief of Police of :the City of
Zephyrhills for such operation.
Section 4. Any person violating the provisions of
this Ordinance, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by
a fine of not more than $500.00, or by imprisonment for not
ore than 60 days, or both such fine and imprisonment as may
in the discretion of the Municipal Judge be imposed.
Section 5. All Ordinances, or parts of Ordinances in
conflict herewith are, hereby, repealed to the extent of such
onflict.
Section 6. If any part of this Ordinance shall, by
any Court of competent jurisdiction, beHheld to be unconstitu—
tional, such . ruling shall not effect the validity of the remainder
of this Ordinance.
Section 7. This Ordinance shall become effective in
he manner provided by the City Charter of the City of Zephyrhills..

at its first reading by the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills,

Any person violating the terms and conditions of this
Ordinance shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay
a fine of not more than $500.00, or a jail sentence of not more
than 90 days, or both such fine and sentence, in the discretion
of the Municipal Judge.
