AND DEPARTMENT OF STATE, WHEREAS, Florida Statute 171.16 does provide a proce ure whereby all owners of real property being contiguous to the corporate limits of the City of Zephyahills, may be annexed to said City, upon Petition of, said owners, and the adoption of an Ordinance annexing same, and WHEREAS, certain owners of real property of lands conti— guous to the corporate limits of the City of Zephyrhills have, by Petition, requested the annexation of said lands to 'the City of Zephyrhills, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills has deemed it to the best interest of said City that the lands described on said Petitions be annexed within the corporate limits of the City of Zephyrhills, and WHEREAS, the City of Zephyrhills does own certain real property, hereinafter described as Parcel No. 3, lying outside the corporate limits of said City, having been Used as .a Cit Dump, and now to be used as a sanitary land fill by said City. That upon adoption of this Ordinance,. the boundary lines of the corporate limits of the City of Zephyrhills shall be redefined; so as to include the real pro— perty described above. SECTION 3. That this Ordinance shall be published in The Zephyr— hills News for four (4) consecutive weeks, and that proof of the publication of this Ordinance be filed herein prior to final reading of this Ordinance. SECTION 4. That upon the filing of Proof of Publication, an final adoption of this Ordinance, a copy of same shall be filed with the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Pasco County, Florida, and a copy be forwarded to the Department of State, Tallahassee, Florida.
