AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS,
A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION, ANNEXING A CER-
TAIN PARCEL OF LAND TO THE CORPORATE
LIMITS OF SAID CITY, UPON PETITION OF
OWNER OF SAID LAND; PROVIDING FOR THE RE-
DEFINING OF BOUNDARY LINES OF SAID CITY
TO INCLUDE SAID PROPERTY; .PROVIDING FOR
THE PUBLICATION OF SAID ORDINANCE, AND
PROVIDING ;FOR THE FILING OF. THE ORDINANCE,
AFTER ADOPTION, WITH THE CLERK OF THE
CIRCUIT COURT AND DEPARTMENT OF STATE.
WHEREAS, Florida Statute 171.16 does provide a procedure
whereby all owners of real property being contiguous to the or—
porate limits of the City of Zephyrhills, may be annexed to . aid.
City, upon Petition of said owners, and the adoption of an 0di—
nonce annexing same, and
WHEREAS, a certain owner of real property of lands c n-
tiguous to the corporate limits of the City of Zephyrhills h s,
by Petition, requested the annexation of said lands to the City

of Zephyrhills, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ze-phyrhills has
deemed it to the best interest) of said City that the lands
described on said Petition be jannexed within the corporate
• limits of the City of Zephyrhills.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of
the City of Zephyrhills as follows:
1. That, the following parcel of real property be annexed
to the City of Zephyrhills, pursuant to Petition filed by th
owner of said lands and approved by the City Council of the City
of Zephyrh.ills, said real property and owner of same being a
follows:

Begin on the North line of Tract #36, in Section
14, Township 26 South, , Range 21 East, as per plat
of Zephyrhills Colony Company lands, as filed in
Plat Book 1, page 55, Public Records of Pasco
County, Florida, at the point of intersection with
the East line of right—of—way of State highway,
thence East 100 feet, thence South 150 feet,, thence
West 100 feet, more or less to East line of the
right-of-way, thence North along the East right-
of-way line of said State highway to the Point of
Beginning
said lands being owned by LEO J. HOOD.
2. That it is, hereby, deemed to be in the best interest
of the City of Zephyrhills that the lands, above described, be
annexed to and become a part of the City of Zephyrhills. That
upon adoption of this Ordinance, the boundary lines of the cor-
porate limits of the City of Zephyrhills shall be redefined so
as to include the real property described above.
3. That this Ordinance shall be published in. The Zephyr-
hills News for four (4) consecutive weeks, and that proof of the
publication of this Ordinance be filed herein prior to final
reading of this Ordinance.
4. That upon the filing of Proof of Publication, an
final adoption of this Ordinance, a copy of same shall be fi ed
with the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Pasco County, Florida,
and a copy be forwarded to the Department of State, Tallahassee,
Florida.

on its first reading by the City Council of the City of Zephyr-
