ORDINANCE NO. 376
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS
AMENDING SECTION 19-3 PERTAINING TO SEWER
TIE-IN CHARGES AND WATER IMPACT FEES .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ZEPHYRHILLS, sitting in regular session as follows :
That Section 19-3 Application for Service; Initial
Fee provision shall be amended to delete the provision of
Section . 19-3 and shall hereafter read as follows : ,
"Section 19-3 . APPLICATION FOR SERVICE ; INITIAL 11
FEE .
No person shall use the city water and/or sewler .
system without first making written application for such
service to the city at least fourteen ( 14) working'd.ays ,
in the case of initial cut-in , before the service is
desired , paying all costs , charges , fees and deposits
incident thereto . Such application shall be on forms
furnished by the city and such applicant shall agree, by
acceptance of such service, to abide by all the
provisions of this chapter and such applicable rules of '+
the city in regard to the use of its water, sewer. and - -
sewage disposal system as may from time to time be-.-:,
operative and effective . All such applications shall be t .
accompanied by a sum equal to Three and 50/100
( $3 . 50) Dollars per gallon as a sewer tie-in charge,
which amount shall be for the purpose of future sewer
plant expansion and sewer line extension , and the sum 'of'
One and 75/100 $1 . 75__ Dollars per
( ) p gallon _ as a water
impact fee , plus actual costs of water meter . The. number
of gallons shall be determined as per a "table" which - ,~

shall be adopted by the city by resolution , and as m:ay. be
amended from time to time , which table shall establish
the gallons per day of use according to the type of

establishment to be serviced . Applications for service

by firms , partnerships , associations and corporations
shall be tendered only by their duly authorized agents
and the official title of each party shall be assigned to
the application . "
This Ordinance shall become effective when passed on
its third reading and when signed by the Mayor .
The above and foregoing Ordinance was read and
passed on its first reading in open and regular meeting
on this 13th day of August , 1984,
