A display of baton twirling by Lea Basse and Laura Gallacher was a fea- tare c' the evening. Book ileek was observed November 11-17. In the libr=ry were displayed books of unusual inter- ests, original drawings, and model *canes from favorite borks and also dolls dressed as well- known cnaracters• There were also clever book jackets and posters. Tao programs were given in the Auditorium by the elementary and the high school students. Chapel is held each Wednesday morning with the classes taking their turns in presiding. Min- isters of the town have a rotation which they follow for visits to the school to address t'ie students. Bootcall Banquet was given in honor of the foot al! team and their guesta on December loth at the American Legion hall. The hall and taoles were d ..crated in blue football faehion, and entertainment was furnished by the cheer leaders and majorettes. Valentine Dance was sponsored on Wednesday night February 13th by the Senior Class at the Ro- man's Club Building. Randall Lunday's 13 piece orchestra furnished the music. The club building was decorate,i with red and w1iite streamers. Mrs. Morena, class sponsor, c!aceroned the dance, assisted by :Er. Uangin. A good time was had by all. hid's Lay -Friday morning March Lyth the Seniors arrived at school in costumes or children. At 9:30 the entire school was entertained with a Wild %lest show, "Crime Doesn't Pay" written by members of the class. kberyore had plenty of good lswghs. After the show the kris left for tneZephyrhills airport of see eight governors and their wives arrive by plane to visit Pasco Yacklag Plart. At noon the seniors had lunch tog,;tner void t.ten off for a bycycle rile and a swim. The evening was spent at Zephyr Park where Mrs. S.S. Royal entertained with a wiener roast.
