HomeMy WebLinkAbout0104 Does your polar bear have a cold? If it does you'd better see Dr. Robert Gerlach and order some of his little liver pills. They spruce bears up in no time at all. Remember that quiet gal, Joyce Stover? She came along with us and found her line to be training seals to water-ski. Dot Hudson was another animal-lover. She now has a flea circus with Flerman, the only flea who can operate a hula hoop! Since Alaska is now the playground of the world women must keep up in fashion. For this they look to Joyce Lummus and Curtis Young. Joyce is world renowned for her latest creation, the ermine-lined transparent dress with built-in heat. Curtis is a "high fashion" hair stylist. He was first famous for his sack cut, and more recently became known for his balloon cut. Barbara Youmans has proved herself as the Picasso of Alaska. The Eskimos simply go wild about her finger paintings. She uses flourescent paints so the Eskimos don't have any electricity bill during the six months of darkness in Alaska. Fred Trebour has a laboratory on the 1000 floor of the Pepto Bismol House where he is always coming up with earth-shattering discoveries. Right now Fred is working on his theory that the clouds can be sprayed with cream so that when it snows we'll have ice cream! Does you boyfriend hate you? Well, write and tell Luly Lovelorn, alias Sandra Craig, about it. She is now writing the lovelorn column for the Daily Bugle in Alaska. Do you know that Mad Magazine has an office in Alaska and the editor is Charlie Ray Adams? Merle Padgett and Sandra Wolancevich work for him. They write cruel jokes and actually get paid for it? Now Mad is the maddest thing in print! Earnesteen Quick became so fond of the North woods in Alaska that she became a hunting and fishing guide there. Right after graduation Shirley Walker took off for parts unknown. She turned up some time later with a collection of animals from the wilds of Africa. Now Shirley is owner and caretaker of the Walker jungletarium. For some reason nothing could get Monica Prowant or Marcia Betterman to Alaska. Seems that while Lynn is working on missiles Monica stays home and keeps his space suit in shape. Marcia is secretary to Mr. Chuck Bellows-her husband. How's that for an employer? Jerry Sanford-now there's a brain! He put his mathematical know-how to work and designed the bridge that was built between Alaska and Russia. The bridge extends right to the Kremlin so the inmates can see how we (the pride of America) live. Gwen Stroup and Barbara Shelton had Crystal. Springs moved to Alaska so we now have a warm place for swimming. Leave it to them to think of that! Alice Hutchinson decided that she would put her knowledge of child psychology to use. She now operates the Hey-Diddle-Diddle Nursery for Little Alaskans.
