For it is life, the very life of life.
In its brief course lie all the varieties
and realities of your existence:
The bliss of growth;
The glory of action;
The splendor of beauty;
.For yesterday is already a dream -
- Sanscrit
For every human, there is
a goal for which he is
striving. Whether it is a
goal for the improvement of
the individual, or for society
itself, it will eventually be
attained. Now, as the close
of the year is drawing near,
the graduates and underclassmen
of 1971 slowly narrow the
generation gap, to become the
potential leaders of tomorrow.

Ever present is the future
Forever gone is the past
Each generation brings its fads
And ours shan't be the last.
With outstretched arms before us
________ ' We reach out to attain our goal
Now as the school year terminates
We'll remember the turmoil we faced
How each week went fluttering by -
Everything so fast-paced.
Never shall we forget the times
Filled with joy, memories, and tears
Some of the best days of our young lives
Alas! Our high school years!
