future farmers
of america '
the future farmers of america has always been an
extremely active group within our school. this past year
was no exception. our local chapter sent represen-
tatives
to all levels of competition from local through
nationals. they received the "chapter accomplishment
award" at the national convention held in kansas city,
missouri. this is the highest achievement award for a
local chapter. indeed, our school extends our highest --
congratulations to this organization and encourages
them to continue their efforts to be such an integral --
part of our total high school experience.

mike walker was our
chapter's "public speak-
ing" competitor this past --
year. mike not only won _
his local and district com-
petitions, but went on to
the state and finally the
regional contests where
he placed third in kansas
city. this was the highest
individual winner our
chapter has had in recent
years and we are proud of
the work mike exhibited
in this area of ffa.
