HomeMy WebLinkAbout0217 EDITOR'S NOTE
Being the editor of the annual has been a lot of hard work, but it has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I
was given the chance to work with many people and I would like to take this opportunity to thank those people.
First of all, let me tell you about my staff. They have been a hard working group and they were given plenty of opportunities
to test their abilities. I thank them for their patience with my tyrades and with our advisor when she lost her usual tranquil aura.
Both a good staff and an experienced advisor are necessary to create an award winning annual, but without a talented photogra-
pher we would lose a lot of the instantaneous action that goes on every moment at ZHS.
Secondly, the students make the annual what it is - a history of their school lives during the year and they really "hammed"
it up this year. Thirdly, I would like to thank the faculty for being so good about excusing students for pictures. There were
those other than the staff who gave of their time and ideas knowing they would receive no recognition. Finally, I would like to
thank my mother for supplying the car, and the gas for the many trips to Tampa, also, for having patience and for expressing
ideas.
I hope this was a meaningful year for everyone and that the dedication of those who worked so long and so hard to make this a
great annual will be appreciated. My words of advice to next year's editor are: Don't lose sight of your first ideas in all the
pressure and confusion. And my advice to the students is: Keep your future in mind and when you get discouraged about a grade
or a class remember what goal you're working towards.
Sincerely,
Jo Ann Hyder, 1977 Zephilsco Editor
