representing the student body of ZHS.
This year's council, the largest one
ever, consists of two representatives
from each homeroom and 12 Mem-
bers-at-Large, appointed by the Execu-
tive Board. Student Council is very
active in school affairs and shows great
pride in ZHS.
This year the Council's main project
was the Stadium Fund. By sponsoring
two films and a Homeroom Competi-
tion Drive, they raised nearly$2,000 to
benefit the stadium.
Traditionally, Student Council spon-
sors Homecoming. This year was the
Council's most successful one since
1952. Events conducted by the Council
this year included: The VooDoo Doll
Contest, the parade, Homecoming
Night activities and the Homecoming
Z 1. Dance.
Other activities of this year's Council
included District Rallies, State Con-
vention, serving as Tour Guides at the
annual Open House, sponsoring a
scholarship and many others.
