Boys and Girls State is derived for
the purpose of student leadership
along with awareness of our govern-
ment systems. The candidates are
nominated by the faculty, and the final
representatives are selected from a
committee, which in turn is chosen by
the American Legion. After a trip to
the state capitol where everyone
worked hard, all returned with knowl-
