The Officer's Council is an essential part
LAI I of the band in maintaining discipline.
The Officer's Council is led by the Band
Captain and is made up of the BAND
CAPTAIN, Nancy Duffield; FIRST LIEU-
TENANT, Mary Ann LaRussa; SECOND
LIEUTENANT; Gordon Hood; DRUM
J� A MAJORS, Ronda Ferguson and Mark
Natalia SECRETARY, Elaine Smith; TREA-
1 f SURER, Susan Steuart; HEAD MAJOR-
ETTE,y ` Tracy St. Onge; FLAG CORPS CAP-
TAIN, Teresa Hood.
c The duties of the Officer's Council are as
follows:
1. To be responsible for reviewing band
policies.
• 2. To act as a reviewing board for stu-
dent grievances.
3. To assist the director in maintaining
r L. order.
4. To assist in deciding which trips the
band will take.
This past year the band has participated
in District Marching Contest and District
Concert Contest, various area parades;
A' A -- including Gasparilla parade, Citrus
Parade and a year end trip to Disney
World. The band also participated in the
Tangerine Bowl.
