If you have ever needed a friend; if you ever felt lonely; usually, there was someone special to fill
your needs.
Ron Zachman came to our school new and alone, but it didn't take him long to make friends. His
warm smile always showed him to be friendly to everyone. He once said to me, "I am glad to have all of
you kids around me." But he will never know that he meant more to us than anyone else around.
It took sixteen years for this special person to find his way into our lives. We all knew who he was.
Ron was new, but he was not alone. He had all of us.
