Under new head coach Nancy Gibb, the volleyball
team set 19 school records, became runner-up to
Hernando in the 1985 District Championship, and for
the first time finished first in the Gulf Coast Con-
ference. The overall record for the season was 21
wins— 3 losses. The conference record was 15-1.
This year's team set high goals for themselves as in-
dividuals and as a team. The Lady Bulldogs overcame
the obstacle of learning a new system in a very short
period of time. All of the Lady Bulldogs, from the top
of the roster to the bottom, played a big part in the
record-setting season by specializing in certain skills
to make the team well-rounded and ultimately feared
for the 1985 season. Go out and get em'dogs!
