KRETSCHMAR
After 33 years in the public school
system, Mr. Ernest Kretschmar re-
' tired this year. As the Assistant Prin-
cipal of Curriculum, he was respon-
sible for class scheduling and entering
student data into the county com-
puter system. Mr. Kretschmar began
teaching Algebra 1, II, and III in 1954,
when all 12 grades were in the same
building. He attended several major
universities, including Princeton,
_ where he occasionally bumped shoul-
ders with Einstein. He believes that
education is very important today
` — and encourages students to work
hard in school.
Mr. Kretschmar, in his home away-A I from home, spends most of his time
compiling and entering data on the
school's computer system.
