RECOGNIZE . . .
a 1969 graduate of ZHS, Mr. Dale Palmer. While teach-
ing Social Studies for fourteen years, Mr. Palmer has spon-
sored "Blind Day" in his psychology classes and this year
has challenged the AP American History class to "tell me
what you know." Coach Palmer's appreciation for sports
began in high school when he played on the basketball team
and the state runner-up baseball team. He has coached every
level of basketball from summer recreation 7-9 year olds to
7th and 8th grade teams to varsity girls at ZHS. This year he
takes over as the varsity boys' basketball coach. In ad-
miration of his talents to teach and his ability to inspire,
the 1988-89 Zephilsco is dedicated to Mr. Dale Palmer.
