Kuniyuki,and Billy Poe Maribridget Weaver
Boys' and Girls' State were created to give the youth of America pride in their
government and knowledge of the way it works. This year's delegates spent many
hours learning firsthand about the Florida Legislature.They ran for offices,listened to
speakers, and participated in a mock legislative session. Each delegate returned with a
new insight and understanding of state government.
