Could it be that we have finally reached the point,
'Tie boundary with the future? I _
It all seems so mystic,
So strange and insane.
Aren't we stiff those naive little children
Who entered the commons an eternity ago?
Is it possible to metamc�rphize
Into a hawkovernight?
To learn how to screech -
'To(earn to take flight?
That image I see,
Is it really me?
Or is it you that I see,disguised within me?
We learned how toffy,
We learned how to fight, _
We learned how to bare the forever night - �� �r
And now there it is, the gkm ing fight, _____i
,kfady to lead us away from this place -
Then why do Ifeela a painful desire
To reach out and extinguish that penetrating fire
Andsit here in class -Forever
Frozen with fear
Of leaving each other,of becoming real
And learning to exist
Frozen in place
Of leaving the warmth
Of leaving behind
The carefree ignorance of childhood,
A childhood that was never carefree.
We've learned a lot,
We've faced a lot,
Our experiences have grown,
Taken on lives of their drum. -
But it's time to move on,
It's time tosieze the day
And make it our own -

To trap our images in space
forever reflections of ourselves
Mingled with the misty haze of this place.
