Although our exchange students seem to like America, they of course miss their countries as well. Unani- mously, they first and foremost miss their families and f friends, but they miss cultural aspects as well. Saida missed,"Uzbek, Russian or Korean dishes that were really cooked, not `dissolved' or `microwaved'," while Katrin missed an ice cream parlour called Dolomiti's '*^ where she spent time with her friends in Germany. Juliana and Johnny missed spending weekends with their friends at nightclubs. Despite the few things they miss, they seem to be having a good time with us while they are in the states.
