We have grown, learned, thrived, and survived, and it was simply 'Time to say Farewell'. It all came to a close when the final bell rang on May 24, 2002. As doors flew open for the last time of the year and students came pouring out, nobody could quite believe it was all over. While visions of a long awaited summers fun danced in our beads, there was a lot to look back on and recall. A period bad D come to a close and along with it went another chapter of our lives. During the year we all marveled at just how slow the time seemed to be passing, but looking back we realize just how much it had actually flown. The 2001-2002 school year was a very eventful year for everyone. ID badges, homecoming, the September 11th disaster, spring break, prom and the grand finale, also known as graduation, were just a few of the many highlights of the year that spring to mind as we look back. Although these things may seem like the big events of the year for the collective student body, on a more personal level, the year was also very memorable. Freshmen found the year to be one of endless new experiences and a new environment, while Sophomores found a new sense of security that stemmed from having a year's worth of high school behind them.Juniors spent the year thinking of SAT's and what lay in store for them next year, and Seniors found themselves faced with college admissions and the fact that there would be no "next year" in high school for them. What had started out as another fresh new start in the path to our future, came to a close. That "new start" thus became a new set of memories in our past. And on marched time, leaving the present behind, O towards a new chapter of our lives full of memories that had yet to be made and a new set of experiences that had yet to be had. And so, as we stepped out of the oh-so-familiar classrooms on that final day of class, there was a lot to remember. All the good times, all the bad times, and all the time still to come. s 256 10
