making the team, setting a personal goal and
meeting it, or building confidence makes the
whole season worthwhile. Trophies,ribbons,
and rankings are great achievements; how-
ever,there is more to sports than the number
on the scoreboard. The things that make
a lasting impression come without awards
- determination, camaraderie, discipline,
and teamwork. As you think back about the
sports at ZHS, don't just remember the final
score; remember the team, the coaches, the
fans, and the overall experience.
