Trying to find your claim to fame can be a tough task to accomplish. That's why
joining a club or organization in high school is so much more than just a place to hang
out or talk with friends. Extracurricular and co-curricular activities can help pave the
way for the life that lies ahead. Enlist in JROTC and you could become the next American
hero like Chase Thornton. If the front line isn't your calling, give SADD (Students Against
Destructive Decisions) a chance; you could help Justin Holley save a life. Maybe you want
to be the star of a movie or Broadway performance and have your name up in lights. If
so, stand alongside the Drama members while performing the latest play. Clubs offer
students a glimpse into the future to see what sort of star they might follow because
you never know what sort of fame is in store.
